The local art galleries and businesses located on Indianola Avenue, south of the Studio 35, will host their 12th “Art Crawl” on Friday May 9, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. The “Art Crawl” will feature street artists, sidewalk sales from neighboring businesses along with the Art Gallery Show openings. A Touch of Greece Food Cart along with, Clintonville Pizza and Yeah Me Too will have food and beverage for purchase.

Portals: A Solo Exhibition by Derek Stewart

Come out to Franklinton for the opening of Derek’s first solo show…enjoy his art, sample some great libations and hang out on their great patio!
King’s Island Sculpture Unveiling
Join Gavin Bruce and A Kid Again as they unveil Gavin’s sculpture dedicated to Gabriel Taylor. While Gabriel battled childhood cancer, he remained determined to find the positive in every situation. He loved to make people smile and laugh. Gabriel hoped to make everyone as happy as he was all the time. This sculpture is being placed in Kings Island to thank them for their generous donations. They have given over 50,000 smiles (tickets) for the children and their direct family whose lives are all deeply affected by this battle.

Time for the first farmer’s market in Franklinton this Saturday. Rain or shine, join Crafty by Nature, and many more artisans, artists and great food products. If it storms, the market will be set up at Strongwater Food and Spirits.
