About the Artist
Nikos Fyodor Rutkowski was born in Columbus, OH in 1979. Quite a bit of formative years accrued until he graduated Cum Laude from The Columbus College of Art & Design in 2002. Then after several years of informative post-college “adulthood” he became instrumental in founding the Franklinton Arts District, creating its most popular event, Urban Scrawl.
Currently he splits his time between fatherhood, art, and visual merchandizing; as well as making masks, puppets, and other odd three-dimensional projects through his company Victor Nombre Studios.

The Franklinton Arts District is currently looking for artists to participate in our eighth annual Urban Scrawl event. Urban Scrawl is a 2-day festival that features the live creation of murals by artists, performances by musicians, DJs and break-dancers, food trucks, and more! The event will be held at 400 W. Rich St., and takes place on Saturday, August 23rd from 12-10pm, and Sunday, August 26th from 12-6pm. Selected artists will be given one or two
primed, 4’ x 8’, vertical panels to create their artwork
during the festival.
