Once again, there is plenty to do this weekend so how about making a trek to Marion first to see Christopher Tenant’s closing and then come back to Columbus or go to Bay Village or Cincy????
MARION OSU CAMPUS
There will be a Closing reception from 6-9 on October 9 at the Kuhn Gallery at the OSU campus in Marion. During this time light hor d’oeuvres served as well as a meet and greet with the artist. Anyone attending the event will receive a complementary show print of the painting All The Teeth.
The artists at 400 West Rich loved the spirit and energy that happened in Franklinton during the Independents’ Day Festival, and enjoyed their show so much that they wanted to keep them going and do something new for October.
Come and join them on the second Friday in October for a tenants show and upstairs open studio event not to be missed!
In the name of community and diversity, the art will be taken out of the “main gallery space” upstairs and will be used to cover every other nook and cranny upstairs with glorious art. Take a look around and find hidden gems all over, and while you are upstairs, check out some of the wonderful artists at work, in their own studios!
Light refreshment provided!

Say hello to Columbus’s freshest art event! Public Domain is a cutting-edge pop-up exhibit and banging art party featuring new work by Ohio artists who have combined pieces of the public domain with their own creativity.
Public Domain channels the downtown NYC of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol and CBGBs — when graffiti ruled the streets, punk rock & hip-hop were born….and the possibilities were wide open for renegades. This show is all about individual style that dares to be inspired by the collective.
