This week the art starts on Tuesday evening at Shadowbox for the kick-off of the 2015 season of RAW: Columbus along with a celebration of the director, Dayna Melton’s birthday!

Come celebrate the 2015 season launch of @RAW Columbus Presents “VISIONARY” Tuesday night at ShadowboxLive and get your pictures to remember the night courtesy of The Photo Bomber Booth! It’s an awesome concept where you can take your own photos and then they pop up on a screen for you to see right after!

Date night heats up around the forge with blacksmithing instructor Adlai Stein of Macabee Metals. Create gorgeous copper leaves that you can turn into a necklace, pendant or a pin. Then head into the woodshop with CIF instructor Eric Lanese to build a candle holder out of hardwood! Then stroll over to Strongwater Food and Spirits for a full gourmet dinner including appetizer, two entrees and two desserts–all included in this package deal.
Smile Lines Project Update Party
Come join in celebrating the progress of Smile Lines Project and help support the ongoing kickstarter. The update party will be held at The Roscoe Room from 5 pm to 10 pm January 30th. Smile Lines Project is a living art exhibition, raising awareness of military suicide and celebrating the resilience of our veterans. Come see all of the wonderful progress on the American Veteran portraits along with their personal statements. There will be wine, food, live music, lots of art and art lovers! $1 suggested donation at the door.
Saturday January 31st
Come out for the opening of Eye Candy: A Collection of Portraits at Tacocat Cooperative on Saturday, January 31st. Eye Candy will feature a collection of unique depictions of people, loved ones, celebrities, and self portraits created by artists of Open Door Art Studio.
Eye Candy: A Collection of Portraits will be on view from Saturday, January 31st through Monday, February 23rd.
Tacocat gallery hours are Sundays from 12 – 5 pm.
Discover art, creation, and wonder with local food and beverage pairings, entertainment, and a night of eccentric experiences.
Tickets and sponsorships will benefit the CMA’s Center for Creativity. Wonderball is a 21 and over event.
