Rivet in collaboration with Igloo Letterpress welcomes back the second annual group exhibition Be My Valentine. Channeling the days of Valentine greetings being handed out at elementary school, the nervousness of silly little crushes and fears of rejections past. This is a modern-day twist on the little Valentine square. 40+ artists (local, national and international) were given a 4in x 5in one-sided card to create their Valentine. Whether your heartstrings are of song or scorn, you’ll be sure to find one that meets your heart’s desire.

An opening reception will be held tomorrow Saturday, February 7 from 7-10pm with some artists in attendance. Enjoy a special soundtrack of music, sweet treats, tasty libations compliments of The Actual Brewing Company and amazing artwork. If you are in the area, please stop by.

On Saturday, February 7 from 5:30 – 8 pm, Stone Village Art Gallery welcomes local artist, Arlo Moon, and his amazing art pop exhibit, Friends of Old and New. The new exhibit focuses upon modern pop art from a cultural anthropology aspect, utilizing mixed media as a means of interpretation.
In addition to Arlo’s new exhibit of pop art, a delicious array of foods and desserts will be on hand for the reception.

A Tradition of Progress: Ohio Decorative Arts 1860-1945 tells the story of Ohio through decorative arts objects, starting with the Civil War era and concluding with the event that marked the true beginning of the modern era-World War II.   This time period was perhaps the most transformative in American history.  Ohio artists, artisans, designers, and manufacturers played a very important role in this transformation.  The exhibition will include more than 150 splendid pieces of furniture, glass, ceramics, metalwork, and textiles.
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 1pm-4pm
Admission is FREE!
