    roll call

Please join the Roll Call: Artists Unite July 18th from 7pm to 10 pm, at the Vanderelli Room, for ROLL CALL: Artists uniting to benefit the Vanderelli Room. A silent auction of works created by many of Columbus’ finest artists will be held to upgrade, continue, and expand it’s community projects.
The Vanderelli Room will be celebrating Alicia’s (AJ) Vanderelli’s 40th Birthday and auctioning off artwork to raise money for the gallery. There will be a silent auction as well as a live auction for commission work. Silent auction pieces will have a starting bid price determined by the artist and if the piece sells the artists can decide to donate 50% 75% or 100% of the proceeds to the gallery. The commission auction will be live and the auctioneer will show slides of an artists work and the audience will bid to have that artist create a piece for them. Size and other limitations will of course be presented as well as making sure the buyer understands they will be working under guidelines from the artist and the artist will not be asked to create anything outside of their style or comfort zone. The artist can then decide what percentage (50/75/100) they want to donate to the gallery once complete.
