This is the weekend to be thankful for so many things including the art scene in Central Ohio and Small Business Saturday….not a lot going on because of the holidays BUT think about supporting local businesses instead of spending all of your money at Black Friday events. Every little burg has plenty of neighborhood stores and many of them support local artists. Get out there and support them on Saturday!!!
Small Business Saturday
Short North District
Beginning on Black Friday, shop at select retailers in the Short North Arts District to receive a free, limited edition Short North Arts District Black Friday Messenger Bag. Bags will be available with purchase at participating retailers while supplies last through Small Business Saturday and the remainder of the weekend.
The high-quality bag displays a map of High Street, and is available to the first 1,000 shoppers at participating businesses. Bring them back to the District all season long for special deals and gifts with purchase.
Continue to shop small and local in the Short North Arts District on Small Business Saturday, and make sure to grab a Short North Arts District Black Friday Messenger Bags with purchase, before they run out. Want to watch the Ohio State vs. Michigan game? Shop before or game time and hit your favorite Short North Arts District spot to see the Buckeyes battle the team from up north.
The event is free and open to the public. More information is available here: http://ht.ly/UzQyr
