A HOLIDAY POP-UP GIFT SHOP AND GIFT WRAPPING WORKSHOP

For the holidays this year, Tacocat is hosting a holiday pop-up gift shop featuring a large collection of artwork and handmade goods priced below $200. Guests have the ability to choose from a large selection of wallet-friendly original works.
Come join Craftin’ Outlaws to make your own gift wrap. For $10, you design your own 24×36 sheet of gift wrap, 2 small gift boxes and 3 gift tags. Supplies, stamps, pens and markers included in price of this make-and-take opportunity. Workshop cost is included with any artwork purchase.
Do you have gifts you need to wrap in secret? Bring them over to the gallery and wrap your gifts for $5. We will have gift wrapping paper in bulk available to you. Spend some time wrapping those gifts that you want to make a surprise. Workshop cost is waived with any artwork purchase made in the gallery.
Smile Line Project Update

Smile Lines Project is about an exhibition of paintings, created by artist Suzanne Betz Gallagher, intent on reducing the suicide rate of Veterans. But included with each painting is a statement, gleaned by interviews of each volunteer, often while they sit for the paintings being made, that share their personal skill sets and resilience. It is a multilayered study of character and strength. Each portrait helps celebrates that we all have more smile lines to earn

One of my favorite photographers and previously featured artists, Ralph Corriveau, will be having a studio clearance sale during Franklinton Fridays from 7:00-10:00 pm, and then again on Saturday for the 400 W. RIch St. Festivus celebration. All work will be deeply discounted!!! He will also have a photo in Midwest Photo Exchange’s Environmental portraiture show, to be held Friday night in their learning center at 3286 North High St. from 5:00-7:30 pm. (They tell him there will be food and beverages!)

“Everybody Knows your Name” is the fifth and final solo show of 2015 for Donna McCarty- Estep. This solo show, which stays in a similar portrait focused vein to other solo shows of the year, will highlight famous movie and television characters from the past and present.

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year where we come together in a HUGE art filled warehouse to air out grievances, shop from local bakers, makers, and crafters, check out great art from 3 different galleries, explore the building and meet artists in their studio’s, perform feats of strength, jam to rad tunes from the DJ, buy food from food trucks, and more.
This year 400 West Rich many artists will also exhibiting in the C-Note show, pricing artwork at really affordable prices of $100 or less.
400 West Rich will also be accepting non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries, and toys that we will be donating to non-profit outreach organizations in Franklinton. There will be colorfully wrapped boxes throughout the building to drop off any items you decide to donate.

The Dublin Art Walk features local accomplished artists out live paintings and leading demonstrations, live music, an artful scavenger hunt (#crazycritterhunt) that is great for the whole family, and a kids activities at the Dublin Library where kids will be creating holiday crafts with artist Yasue Sakaoka and making a large scale paper sculpture that will be on display at the library through January 9th.
