The Art of Recovery is the main funding source for the Fresh A.I.R. Gallery. Proceeds from the event directly support the gallery’s mission and programming. Fresh A.I.R. Gallery exhibits the work by individuals affected by mental illness and/or substance use disorders. They educate the community and work to break down the stigma of mental illness and substance use disorders by bringing focus to the artistic vision. Since opening their doors in 2004, they have shown more than 60 exhibitions and displayed the work of more than 200 artists. Many of their exhibits demonstrate the courage and struggles of the artists as they combat stigma and address social issues. Fresh A.I.R. Gallery does not accept any commission for artwork sold and all proceeds from art sales go directly to the artists.Art of Recovery promo video: https://youtu.be/gVinFFhNyaA
