The Art and Artists of 614 and Friends of the Columbus Metropolitan Library present the juried exhibit “In Transformation” from January 19 – March 3, 2017 at the Carnegie Gallery, Columbus Metropolitan Library, 96 S. Grant Avenue, Columbus.

To honor the extraordinary renovation of the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Main Library, the theme of this exhibit is “In Transformation.” From the beautiful new plaza along Grant Avenue to the soaring floor-to-ceiling windows to the expansion of Carnegie Gallery, the transformation of this great Columbus resource is truly magical. Taking inspiration from the library’s metamorphosis, artists will present their interpretation of “In Transformation.”

Every city is unique in its own identity and personality. This invitational exhibition highlights selected Central Ohio painters as they reflect their own distinctly and different styles and communication with the city.

The exhibition will run from January 16 – March 24 with a Meet-the-Artists Opening Reception: Friday, January 20, 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

(Please note: The gallery is closed February 25 – March 5 during mid-term break.)

The Schumacher Gallery will also be highlighting new work by Casey Bradley in our Showcase Gallery.
The exhibition will run from January 16 – March 24. A Meet-the-Artist Opening Reception: Friday, January 20, 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

The Schumacher Gallery at Capital University is open 1:00pm-5:00pm Monday – Saturday during the run of the exhibition.
