Columbus Weekend

My honey and I had a great Columbus weekend before he left to go back home today.westerville mini

On Friday we went mini-golfing at the Westerville Mini Golf.  The best mini golf place in Columbus in my estimation!  Followed by ice cream drumsticks at Knight’s…yum!  That was my first time eating their ice cream…what was I thinking when I have lived for 8 years within 2 miles of their shop????knight's

We spent most of yesterday going to garage and yard sales in the Clintonville/Beechwold area.  Got all kinds of goodies for next to nothing and met some really nice folks.  We also ate at Nancy’s Home Cooking…his first time!  I love that place!!!  The food was so filling that neither of us felt much like eating later in the day:)

We capped off the day with a visit to Weiland’s to get cheese, crackers, peruse the aisles, drool and just have a culinary experience on full stomachs!  Good idea as I could’ve bought out the place if I hadn’t already eaten.

I LOVE Columbus and all that there is to do here!

That being said, I am also psyched to say that I have spent part of today contacting artists in the area asking them about being interviewed and putting out feelers for events/artists/crafters and more!  Stay tuned for some pretty cool features with Heather Zeigler from What the Rock? in Short North/Garden District; Walter Hermann, sculptor and creator of 614 Artists on Facebook; Teresa Morbitzer of Vintage Vamp and Martina Rostorfer Morton of Pottery Heaven.  Those are only a few of the very talented folks I hope to meet with and feature before this summer is over!

Ciao for now but come back soon cause I’m on a roll!!
