creative babes

Hey babes, summer is on its last leg, so let’s get together for another hurrah! Everyone is really stoked to bring the babes together again for our 4th edition (woah). There will be a catch up to speed on current + upcoming projects, and hear from another totally Top Notch Babe. Come drink Manhattans with the babes  (BYOWhiskey) or BYOB per usual. At the last event many of you brought along snacks, so please feel free to keep that communal spirit alive!
Thank you to The Wonder Jam for offering up their rad warehouse space to accommodate the growing babe population.
The schedule of the night’s events is as follows.
6:30-7:00 – Babes, Booze, & Music
-Come out and mingle, have a drink if you please, and get comfortable.
7:00-8:00 – Babe Session
– sharing updates on the coloring book, and will announce some changes, growth, and ways to better connect you with all the babes.
8:00-8:30 – Top Notch Babe
-Another inspiring babe will join us to share her passions + story.
8:30-9:30 – After Party
– Stick around for additional babe badassery (and maybe even a dance party.)
The babes are really excited to see you, whether you’re a new or seasoned babe. All babes are welcome! Seriously, you don’t need a formal invitation.
HUGE thanks to the killer event sponsors : Death to the Stock Photo, Creative Community Group, The Micro Harvest, Compton Construction, LLC, and our hosts, The Wonder Jam.

Construction, deconstruction and reconstruction… are the tearing apart and building up of images to get closer to their essence. Milwaukee welder Kendall Polster repurposes scrap metal for his sculptures and says that their birth in smoke and fire is itself a form of performance art. Columbus artist Troy Stith starts with sketchy painted portraits and then builds them up with layers of scavenged materials to represent our thoughts, experiences and feelings.

Next, Franklinton!
