On October 3rd, CoMo Dance Company presents a site-specific performance at the Cultural Arts Center, home to last year’s 1000 Words/1000 Moves performance. Audience members will follow the dancers through the courtyard, gallery, and other intimate spaces of this beautiful building.
In Destruct Anew, modern dance brings to life the concepts of origination and destruction. Explore with CoMo the freedom of optimism, the struggle of conflict, and the joy of new beginnings in Columbus’s historic armory, now the Cultural Arts Center.
This performance will feature two Guest Artist premieres of newly commissioned choreography by Adam Lanter (Company ballet instructor) and Damien Highfield (GroundWorks Dance Theater). There will also be new works by CoMo Company members Kelsey Morozow (co-director), Bridgette Rawlins, and Fernanda McDonald.

Inquiries for work and additional information may be sent to the gallery.
About the artists:
Kaitlin’s art is a multi-layered process and incorporates the use of many media. After moving from New Zealand to her current home Melbourne in 2002, she has had solo exhibitions in Melbourne, exhibited in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and America and her works have been collected throughout the world.
For those who know him best, Zombienose is a gentle and kind character, secretly optimistic. It is said that his work offers endless comfort among the souls that are never quite sane in the night. Hailing from the depths of nowhere he derives inspiration from the unloved, the hopeless, the dreamless, disenchanted, dispossessed, and neglected.
